FEBA Srl History
FEBA Srl, has been manufacturing roll converting systems for the foam, rubber, non-woven, adhesive and non-adhesive tape markets for nearly 40 years in Milan, Italy. Our production includes fully automatic electronic lathe slitting systems (single & multi-shafted), slitters-rewinders, semi-automatic & fully automatic loggers, sawing machines for protection film tapes, & specialty laminating systems. We also design special machines to "keep in touch" with the new materials to convert. Technology, versatility, rigid construction and service are what sets FEBA above their competition.
A brief history of FEBA:
In 1967, with just one employee, Enzo Ferraresi founded "OFFICINA MECCANICA ENZO FERRARESI".
This company was born into the shoes and textile market. The production was based on little coating machines (HOT MELT glue) to satisfy all the different customers needs in that markets, that in that years was very large.
1972 The production was moved into the adhesive tape market, producing mechanical
lathe-slitting machines.
1976 The production was increased all around the world: from Australia, though Europe, to USA.
1982 The first electronic lathe slitting machine was delivered in the UK.
1985 Now, with the two sons starting to work, the company was renamed as FEBA.
1986 The production was increased with the first rewinding machine.
1990 We began the cooperation with our current UK agent-Eurograv, that gave us the possibility to increase our range of converting machine: automatic lathe slitting machines, semi- automatic slitting rewinding machines and sawing machines.
In the UK we have a show-room where we can demonstrate the machines and also inventoy spare parts.
1996 We began the cooperation with our actual North American agent-Manufacturers Supplies Company. Through them we cover all the North American market
with 3 offices and two show-rooms with an extensive spare parts inventory.
Today We have 25 employees, working with us and 1500 sq. meters of offices where the engineering & machine fabrication takes place.
