FE86 Automatic Slitting and Rewinding System
The F.E.B.A. model FE86 automatic slitting and rewinding system is designed for companies converting large quantities of adhesive-backed and non-adhesive materials such as paper tapes, transfer tapes, polyesters, PVC, single and double sided tapes, protection films onto cardboard or plastic cores.
The unique dual revolver units allow for a complete non-stop slitting cycle. Cores are automatically loaded and unloaded while the system is converting the product on the two shafts that are not being loaded/unloaded. The Telemechanique Magelis PLC controls all of the machine's functions.
The operator simply enters the weight of the jumbo log into the system, the sonar reads the diameter and the machine configures the tensions, speeds etc. This series is available as a standard machine but can be designed to meet virtually any material specification. In addition, we can equip this unit with numerous options to meet today's growing customer demands or "wish lists", making this the ideal system for high capacity converters.
