FEBA Semi-Automatic Slitting & Rewinding Systems
FEBA manufactures a wide variety of semi-automatic slitting and rewinding systems for the adhesive tape markets. Duplex slitter rewinders for large diameter rolls, twin turret slitting and rewinding systems for high production converting and rewinding machines or loggers are all manufactured by FEBA Converting Machinery Srl. Materials like BOPP, masking tape, filament, duct tape, PVC, double sided tapes, PSAT, laminates, & films are most commonly slit & rewound on these style machines. All FEBA slitter rewinders can be fitted with a variety of unwinds and "jumbo" roll handling features. The choice of rewind shafts and tension controls will vary depending on the type of material(s) being slit. A varety of optionals can be fitted including; mechanical trim recovery, tab-application units, automatic transversal end cut, "banana" or spreader rolls, automatic core loader in line with the slitter rewinder & automatic rewind shaft transfer systems. Slitting systems are available as; razor blade, either "in-air" or "grooved", scissor cut-shear knives (standard or tangential) or pressure cut-score knives (normal-lubricated & heated type) with the type of slitting set-up is determined by the materials to be converted.

Model FE95 Duplex Slitter Rewinder    The FEBA model FE95 Duplex Slitter Rewinder was designed for companies converting finished roll goods with an outside diameter up too 1.000mm. The most common type of materials slit on this machine are foams, calender rubber, gasket material, paper, laminates and similar products. Working widths up to 2.200mm, finished outside diameters from 350-500-750-1000mm, slit widths from 25mm and up and operating speeds from 150-300-500 Mts/Min. Optionals available include hydraulic jumbo roll lifts, pneumatic splice tables, lay-on-rollers & minimum gap units for precise tension controls, & mechnical trim recovery units.

Model FE86-1 Rewinder-Logger    The FEBA model FE86-1 Rewinder is equipped with a single turret which automatically rotates at the end of the cycle, automatic transversal cut-off, option to trim the logs edge, & the ability to off-load the finished roll and load a new core automatically make this rewinding system an optimal converting solution for a variety of materials. Normally, a company will use this style machine to supply logs in master widths or when a variety of slit widths are needed making a slitter-rewinder less productive due to slit width change over. After the log is rewound, it would then be set up on a single knife lathe slitter so the various widths coule be cut too size. Working widths up too 2.200mm, finished roll OD up too 500mm with mechanical operating speeds available in 120, 300 & 500 Mts./Min.

Model FE86-2 Twin Turret Slitting & Rewinding System    The FEBA model FE86-2 Slitting & Rewinding System is a very versatile machine designed for companies converting special adhesive materials with the need of frequent product changeover. This model can manufacture rolls with different lenghts from a few meters up too finished diameters of 500mm with slit widths from 12mm up too 300mm. Higher productivity is guranteed with the automatic transversal cut off, automatic core loader in-line with the slitter-rewinder and the automatic rewind shaft transfer system. Sophisticated tension controls, three different slitting systems on the same machine, an operating system with recipe recall, many optional accessories make the FE86-2 and ideal machine for a number of applications.
